When will my order be delivered?
Deliveries will be made as soon as possible after an order is placed unless you specify a deferred delivery date. Although we will endeavour to specify the date and a rough time of delivery we cannot be exact. We do require customers to be on site at the time of delivery unless you have previously informed us of alternative arrangements.
If you do require a specific timed delivery this may incur an extra charge - please speak to one of our sales advisors about this to see if this can be done and if a charge will apply.

How much will delivery cost?
Delivery on orders over £300 in value (excluding VAT) will be free of charge. Orders below £300 (excluding VAT) in value will have a delivery charge of £15 applied. Some areas will be subject to further charges due to their distance from our depot.
These areas include, Northern or Southern Ireland, any Off-shore Islands and the Highlands/Grampian regions of Scotland. Please call to find out what delivery charges will apply to these areas. Should you wish to order from abroad please contact the office on +44 1423 332100.

How can I track my order?

Do I have to sign for my delivery?
Customers are required to be on site to sign for one of our deliveries unless prior arrangements have been made. We will leave goods upon request without a signature but the goods are then your responsibility and we cannot take responsibility if damage or theft then orrurs.

What do I do if I wish to return an item or if I receive damaged goods?
Any goods received damaged or of a defective specification should be notified on the delivery note and within 48 hours of receipt by telephone or e-mail. Serious defects/damaged goods should be notified to the company in writing within 7 days of receiving the goods. The company will replace any goods damaged in transit or that are not to specification providing the above conditions are met.
If you order the incorrect item we will charge a 25% handling fee. This is 25% of the total order value, excluding VAT. Haulage back to Green-tech will also be charged. However if the delivery made contains items that were not ordered or were delivered incorrectly we will pick the items up free of charge and you will not incur any cost.

Can I order from overseas?

Can you deliver with a hiab/pallet off load?
We have the ability to deliver our gt Green-tree topsoil in dumpy bags with a hiab offload or pallet offload, however this must be booked in advance and highlighted to your sales advisor. Please contact us to find out details on availability of these services.

Do you supply to the general public?
Although the majority of our customers are trade customers we do supply to the general public who can also take advantage of our keen prices. If you are a member of the public wishing to order please do so through our on-line shop or contact our Customer Services department on 01423 332100.

Do you split packs?
As a rule no, we do not split down from the pack size stated, however rules are there to be broken so ask a Customer Sales Advisor as we may have a part pack in stock.

How will my delivery be made?
Your delivery may be made in a wide variety of ways (small van, large articulated lorry, postal package) and the customer is responsible for the off load of the goods. The customer is also responsible for advising us of any access problems or requirements (i.e. no articulated vehicles) so that a redelivery charge will not be necessary. If you would like us to deliver and off-load please ask as these arrangements can be made for an extra charge.
