Chris Swan and Dean Jackson have recently received their Black, management CSCS cards.
CSCS is a leading Construction Skills Certification Scheme. Cards are issued as proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out.
Chris and Dean have had their cards issued for their knowledge and expertise regarding pesticides, which comes shortly after they both passed the Basis Registration Invasive and Injurious Weeds Skill Area Exam earlier this year.
CSCS is a Scheme that keeps a database of people working in construction who have achieved, or are committed to achieving a recognised construction related qualification.
Dean is an Area Sales Manager and Chris is the Technical and Export Manager for Green-tech. Both have a wealth of industry and product knowledge. They are qualified to advise and recommend product options for weed management and eradication.
Dean and Chris now have extensive understanding and can visit site to advise on the options for control by mechanical, structural, chemical and biological means and the merits of each, taking into account the surroundings and environment which includes maintaining water quality.
They can offer advice and guidance on the rules and requirements for the correct disposal of individual invasive species and the infested waste and how planning, landscaping and other elements related to the control of invasive weeds can be incorporated into control plans.
Head of Sales Richard Gill comments,
“This qualification means our customers have expertise that they can tap into onsite. Dean and Chris can visit and advise on how invasive weeds can be identified; how they develop, spread and reproduce; the products available for control and the implications of each control option. They can advise on the most appropriate solution for their project. The Black management card means they can offer more than just advice when on site.”
