Mona Plant System

Mona Plant System (MPS) is an advanced, well proven and easy to use subterranean irrigation system. It is the cost effective and environmentally friendly solution for both interior and exterior landscaping.

MPS ensures that water and nutrients are delivered in the right quantity to the root of the plants, resulting in improved root development and optimal plant growth.


How it Works

Plants use water to keep their roots, stems, leaves and flowers healthy and to prevent them from drying out and wilting.

Generally, plants get their water from the ground. This means that the plant has to transport the water from its roots up throughout the rest of the plant. How does it do this? Water moves through the soil to the plant by means of capillary action. Capillary action occurs when the forces binding a liquid together and the forces attracting that bound liquid to another surface are greater than the force of gravity.

Through the process of capillary action the Mona System is able to irrigate the roots of plants in an area of 40cm dia and 20cm upwards from each capillary leg, providing water, air & nutrients to exactly where it is required ... the roots. Giving the plants a more natural pattern of feeding resulting in stronger healthier plants and blooms.
