​Great survey ratings for Green-tech despite Corona Pandemic

The results from Green-tech’s annual survey have been revealed and reaffirms their position as the UKs landscaping supplier of choice.

The survey was sent to Green-tech’s customers at the end of 2020 and explores opinions on their business, from their salespeople and communication to their stock availability, delivery service and prices.

Green-tech is delighted that 99% of those who answered the survey said they would recommend the company. Other headline figures include:

  • 95% think the Green-tech product range is good or excellent.
  • 97% say Green-tech is an easy business to deal with.
  • 98% rate the sales support and knowledge as good or excellent.
  • 99% state that the company is honest, reliable and has integrity.

Chairman Richard Kay comments. “I’m incredibly pleased with the results. It’s important that customers rate areas like stock, availability, pricing, and service highly. It is what I hope to see; but I think the more important figures are the ones about Green-tech being easy to deal with and that we have a reputation for honesty and integrity. This really matters to me and makes me incredibly proud. The COVID-19 Pandemic has made things difficult, but we’re managed to hugely adapt our working practices to keep the stock flowing and our customers happy. It’s rewarding to know this has been appreciated.”

Green-tech’s sales team scored exceptionally well with 98% of respondents saying that overall they rated them as good or excellent.

Sales Director Richard Gill said, “A fantastic percentage and overall a set of results to be proud of. We asked leading questions about sustainable products, how the pandemic had affected business and views on trading in 2021. It was encouraging and the mood in the industry is overwhelmingly positive with 77% of all respondents feeling good or buoyant about their order book throughout 2021.”

Customers had the opportunity to comment on their personal experience. A selection of comments includes:

  • “I never have any issues with goods, supply or service.”
  • “I've never had an issue so cannot make any recommendations”.
  • “It’s a company that is continually developing and growing its product list. Exceptional service which cannot be faulted. Of course, pricing is a key consideration.”
  • “I think you do everything very well.”
  • “I appreciate a good price from the outset and access to your specialist knowledge on wildflowers.”
  • “Keep going as you are, maintaining the high standards customer are used to”.

Richard Kay concludes. “We have a lot of investment and training going on to ensure that we can continue to provide the best possible products, prices and customer experience. Despite the pandemic we are confident that by working together with our staff, suppliers and customers, our business will continue to thrive.”
