Green-tech named as headline sponsor of Pro Landscaper’s 30 Under 30

Green-tech has announced that it is sponsoring Pro Landscaper’s 30 Under 30: The Next Generation, for the third consecutive year.

Established to recognise the achievements of ambitious young people within the industry, the initiative seeks out the most impressive young people in landscaping and shines a spotlight on the future of landscaping. By the end of 2020 it will have recognised 180 members of the landscaping industry’s ‘next generation’.

Jim Wilkinson Managing Director of Pro Landscaper magazine, said:

“During these tough times it’s important that we still recognise and reward the next generation of talent rising throughout the landscape sector. As an industry, it’s paramount that we highlight some of the immense expertise and ability we have working across horticulture and over the last six years these awards have certainly achieved this

Richard Kay, Chairman of Green-tech said,

“Pro Landscaper 30 under 30: The Next Generation just gets bigger and better and I am delighted to be headline sponsor for another year. Green-tech is keen to help raise the profile of a career in landscaping amongst the younger generation. This initiative fits with our ethos and offers the perfect opportunity to recognise and reward the achievements of 30 inspiring young people in our industry. If you can demonstrate personal development and progression in your chosen career, I’d urge you to enter. It’s a high-profile event that will really give your career and future prospects a boost.”

Green-tech is an avid supporter within the industry and use their voice to help secure the future of the industry and encourage it as a career choice for the younger generation. They run their own apprenticeship schemes as well as attending numerous career events.
