Rock Rolls are designed to help reduce and prevent long term erosion and allow for the ground to stay stabilised for long, the Rock Rolls are manufactured from a 5mm high strength poly-ethylene braided knotless net and formed into tubular bags, filled with 80 – 100mm granite stone they can be used on their own to provide on-going erosion protection or as part of a bioengineering solution to create a fully vegetated revetment. Commonly used around watercourse shorelines, high-flow riverbanks and streams, rock-rolls provide a flexible solution that gives immediate scour protection, particularly in applications below water.
