What is your favourite thing about working at Green-tech and how long have you worked here?

My colleagues, the team at Green-tech have really pulled together over the last 18 months, showing true grit and the can-do attitude that runs through the business. They make work an enjoyable place to be, they keep it interesting and we always have a laugh.

What made you want to work in the landscaping industry?

I have always worked in construction so landscaping was a natural career move, I actually joined Green-tech on a twelve month contract and 12 years on – I am still here and enjoying it as much as I did in that first year.

What is your favourite memory at Green-tech?

Too many- we have quite a few awards for supplier and employer of the year under our belts now. To be able to go on stage and accept the awards on behalf of the team is exciting, plus its testimony to all the hard work that goes into the day-to-day operations of Green-tech.

Where would you say is a dream holiday destination for you?

Anywhere in Europe, we are so lucky to be a short journey away from so much history, culture and of course great food and wine.

Who is your role model or inspiration?

Too many to name, colleagues past and present and my family. I have learned a lot from the people I have met throughout my career and I am thankful to have worked with some great people.

What is your favourite landscaping show or event to attend or that you have attended?

We attend many events and exhibitions each year, it is great to see a space develop from an idea or concept into a fully built stand. The team at Green-tech always love an awards ceremony – especially when we win! The Pro Landscaper Business Awards were great this year and the first event out of the pandemic.

How do you like to spend your free time?

Out and about getting a good walk in, having an active 3 year old means a lot of trampolining, playgrounds, bouncy castles, parks and generally anything to climb up.
