The Makita UR008GD202 brushcutter is part of the XGT range of tools from Makita, which combines innovative tool design and high output batteries to provide a genuine solution for high-demand industrial users.
The UR008GD202 is a cordless brushcutter suitable for contract landscaping and extensive domestic gardens and features an efficient brushless motor that extends runtime by around 30%. The UR008GD202 produces high power similar to that of a 30cc petrol unit and has a 3-speed electronic gearbox with constant speed control, which increases the power to the motor depending on load conditions. An ergonomic, soft grip handle makes for comfortable extended use and the narrow guard allows better viewing angles for trimming around obstacles. Other features include IPX4 moisture protection, AFT which shuts down the tool if rotation suddenly slows and a reverse switch for easy clipping removal.
The UR008GD202 is designed for nylon cutting heads and plastic blades and is unsuitable for use with metal blades.
