Formulated with two potent hormonal active ingredients, 2,4-D and MCPA, Headland Polo acts swiftly, causing targeted plants to twist and distort within days, making it a popular choice among farmers and growers for its reliability and efficiency.
Packaged in a convenient 10L bottle, Headland Polo covers approximately 7 acres, making it ideal for large-scale applications. For enhanced weed control spectrum, we recommend mixing with Vivendi.
For optimal results, apply Headland Polo between April and October when both weeds and grass are actively growing. Utilize a medium to fine nozzle and spray onto dry leaves, avoiding application during forecasted rain or when grass is stressed due to frost or drought. Note that Headland Polo is suitable for use only through Boom or ATV sprayers. For knapsack applications, consider Thrust.
Ensure horses and livestock are kept out of treated areas until poisonous weeds like ragwort have died and become unpalatable. Grazing exclusion is recommended for 14 days after application.
Our Recommendations:
- Prior to use, carefully review the product label for comprehensive instructions.
- For smaller areas, Grazon Pro is a viable alternative.
- Enhance the efficiency of Headland Polo by incorporating a herbicide enhancer like Activate-g 1L to improve weed penetration.
- Optimal spraying should be carried out while the majority of annual weeds are seedlings and perennials when the flower bud is forming.
- Avoid spraying in windy conditions to prevent drift damage to neighboring crops.
- Refrain from using the first 4 mowings after application for mulching.
- Apply Headland Polo at 2.5 l/ha in 200-400 liters water/ha for cereals. Use higher water volume for areas of dense weed growth or dense cereal stands.
- Apply Headland Polo to permanent grassland at 3.5 l/ha and to newly sown grass leys more than one year old at 2.5 l/ha. Utilize 200-400 liters of water/ha.
- For precision and cost-saving, consider mixing with Blue Dye to ensure comprehensive coverage and avoid overdosing.
Always prioritize safety by wearing appropriate protective clothing, such as Chemical Resistant Gloves, when handling Headland Polo.
