Propyz 10L stands out as a residual herbicide, versatile for both pre and post-emergence weed control, especially tailored for forestry and amenity plantings. Its primary target is grass weeds, yet it exhibits efficacy against a range of other troublesome species including chickweed, cleavers, bindweed, fat hen, and even offers some control against horsetail.
Suitable for ornamental shrubs, roses, and commonly used near trees and hedges, Propyz's mobility in soil necessitates application during cooler conditions when soil temperature remains below 8 degrees Celsius and ample moisture is present, typically occurring between October and January.
For convenience, Propyz is also available in a smaller pack size known as Propyz 1L. Additionally, it comes in spreadable granule form, with options such as Gem Granules 1kg or Gem Granules 5kg.
To broaden the spectrum of controlled weeds, a mix of 42ml Propyz and 5ml Flexidor per 5L of water is recommended. This blend extends control to mayweed, poppy, nettle, speedwell, and buttercup.
It's crucial to administer only one dose of Propyz annually. For comprehensive information on controlled weeds and tolerant tree and shrub varieties, refer to the downloadable product label.
Propyz serves as an alternative to third-party brands like Cohort, Prova, and Kerb® Flo.
