Location - Rabbit Hill Business Park, Great North Road, Arkendale HG5 0FF

Vacancy Type- Permanent, Full Time.

Remuneration - Dependent on experience.

Role Outline

Green-tech is the UKs largest landscaping supplier, providing quality landscaping materials and wholesale garden supplies for landscaping contractors, architects, designers and landowners.

The role of Trade Centre Sales Advisor is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all visitors to the Green-tech trade centre, ensuring collections and new orders are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.

Reporting to the Sales Manager with responsibility for the trade centre, the role will provide a sales and customer service function for the busy day-to-day running of the trade centre. The role will include liaising with customers old and new to facilitate order collections, grow sales, processing sales orders and sales quotations.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be expected to:

  • Assist in the running of the day-to-day operation of a busy trade facility.
  • Dealing with trade counter collections for the Green-tech business
  • Dealing with local visitors to the trade Centre that would like to purchase
  • Processing orders and quotations for any local enquiries
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via regular telephone calls & e-mails
  • Maintaining the outdoor and indoor display area of the Green-tech trade centre
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customer’s businesses and requirements and continually updating this going forward.
  • Dealing and processing customer enquiry calls, incoming and outgoing
  • Recording any activities with customers clearly and accurately in SAP
  • Work to develop future business through contact with non-spending local customers via telephone, email, and social media outlets
  • Support trade center sales representative on achieving sales budget
  • Offer excellent customer service to all trade and domestic customers
  • Support local customers with deliveries
  • As with all roles, your responsibilities may change over time depending on the needs of the business and the above list is not exhaustive.
