What is your favourite thing about working at Green-tech and how long have you worked here?

I have been at Green-tech for 6 years next month. A lot of good things about working at Green-tech, close to home, the people I work with, the friendships etc. hard to put a favourite forward.

What made you want to work in the landscaping industry?

I didn’t really ‘want’ to work in landscaping, I wanted the next step from working in a pub and everyone from Green-tech used to come in on Friday nights and I got on with them all. It made me want to work here.

What is your favourite memory at Green-tech?

I’ve had lots of great memories at Green-tech. The days out, the bus trips to the pub etc. My personal favourite would probably be the Team Building day at Camp Hill 4 years ago.

Where would you say is a dream holiday destination for you?

Currently… anywhere! I haven’t been away since Summer 2019! Just time to get away, nice and warm with bottomless beer would be a good start.

Who is your role model or inspiration?

I would have to say my parents and family, I’ve been very lucky to have them all. They’ve put up with me a lot but also helped me become who I am today!

What is your favourite landscaping show or event that you have attended?

The BALI Awards is always a great laugh. Enjoyed a lot of the Amenity Forums we’ve done at Football Stadiums. Good to be out seeing customers but with a change of scenery.

How do you like to spend your free time?

I like playing golf and cricket and spending time with my partner Becky. Of course going to the pub as well!

Name 3 dream dinner guests?

Shane Lowry, Sir Alex and Fred from First Dates.

If you were stuck on a desert island what 3 objects would you take with you?

Wilsonnnnnnn, a 52 degree and golf ball (get some bunker practice)

Which do you prefer- Rural or urban landscapes?

Rural

What is your favourite project that Green-tech have been involved in?

We had a massive planting project on the A14 a little while ago that I was proud to be involved in, supplying a huge amount of tree tubes!
