What is your favorite thing about working at Green-tech and how long have you worked here?

I’ve been at Green-tech now for just over 6 years, I started as the Dispatch Assistant in 2015, and I am now the Logistics and Production Team Leader. There is a lot of opportunities Green-tech can offer to progress your career! My favorite thing would be the people I work with, we are all so close and have good friendships along with a strong work attitude.

What made you want to work in the landscaping industry?

I did two years studying Horticulture at Askham Bryan College then completely by chance, Carole in accounts is part of my family and was kind enough to get me an interview in the Operations team. Thankfully I was successful and have been here ever since college!

What is your favorite memory at Green-tech?

So many memories as every day is a laugh! Probably the nights out we do as a whole company, pub nights/races/Christmas parties etc.

Where would you say is a dream holiday destination for you?

Preferably somewhere super-hot, but in the UK my favorite place would be Northumberland/Scotland. I would really like to visit New York over Christmas too.

Who is your role model or inspiration?

100% got to be my mum, we are very similar (not sure if that’s a good thing or bad thing half the time!) she’s my best mate and gives me the best advice and confidence.

How do you like to spend your free time?

Around sheep and cows, or in some kind of restaurant or bar with my friends!

Which do you prefer- Rural or urban landscapes?

Urban landscapes look absolutely amazing, but I would have to go with rural as I have to look at them more living in a rural area!

Who is the funniest person at Green-tech?

I honestly can’t pick one person, as everybody here is funny in their own unique way. Operations and the warehouse lads have good crack most days!
